Kendra Kett is theauthor of The Pinwheel Girl TakesFlight: Every Woman’s Journey through Seven Stages of Transformation, aninspiring, empowering book for women and girls. Using poetry, art, healingcolors, and the power of one’s own inner voice, the book offers guidancethrough seven stages of personal change by encouraging awareness, compassion,courage and authenticity.

Kendra was firstinspired to create the Pinwheel Girls, a powerful new icon for womanhood, by aline in one of her poems, by actual pinwheels, and the wind. In a poem she describedherself as “a pinwheel girl twirling in the sun on her way to nowhere.” Amid-life transition and a series of magical coincidences—animal encounters,recurring dreams, the appearance of signs and symbols, chance meetings withhelpful individuals, and more—allowed Kendra to become, literally, unstuck and an unfolding began.The Pinwheel Girls were then birthed for every woman who knows how it feels topretend to be less than you are.

Kendra is a frequentspeaker and workshop presenter empowering women to be true themselves, live thelife they love and want, and pursue their dreams fearlessly through her workwith the Pinwheel Girls.  She also writesher own blog featuring inspirational quotes, stories, videos, poetry, and artabout transition and empowering everyday symbols.
