Monica Mathis-Stowe is a native of Washington, D.C.and lives in Maryland with her brave, sexy firefighter husband and theirloving, handsome son. Monica was introduced to the world of romantic fiction byan older cousin who worked at a local library, and it was "love at firstread." Reading for fun opened her mind to new experiences. As a teenager,she decided to become a writer because she wanted the  power and ability to entertain people with herwords. Her stories describe the drama in relationships among families, lovers,friends, and colleagues. She likes to take her readers on a roller-coaster rideof emotions that will make them laugh, cry, gasp, think, and question peopleand their actions. There is nothing more exciting to her than creating afictional world with flawed characters who consume her thoughts and tell herhow they want the story to play out. Her first novel, Where Did We Go Wrong? was released in early April 2012. In herfree time, she travels as much as she can, but when she's home, she's surroundedby her family and friends.
