I'm a nutritionist and the author of seven picture books, a young adult novel called FAT CAMP, and two novels for adults, FAT CHANCE and WHAT MEN WANT. My latest picture book is BLACK DIAMOND AND BLAKE, the story of a retired racehorse that's saved from slaughter and sent to a horse-care program at a prison where he develops a special relationship with an inmate.
