True story of 90 pound loser racing across America through towards Las Vegas to find her father. The most brutally true memoir you have ever read.

The Story Behind This Book

My relationship with my father and my family involves multiple kidnappings, going into hiding, drugs and silence. The only way to tell my story was in a memoir.

Praise and Reviews

“Wow! Just...wow! How's that for a review? But that is truly the thought Ihad after reading Apocalypse: The Memoir, the first book released byauthor Chantelle Oliver. Have you ever read a book where, after youfinished it, you just wanted to meet the author in order to find out howher mind works? Well, this book is one of those. Following the 15-year-oldauthor as she crosses the country towards Las Vegas to find her father, right in the middle of an apocalypse of massive proportions, the book isfull of humor, action, adventure, excitement and again, just...wow!http://apocalypsethememoir.com/#xl_anchor_reviews

And I do a lot ofreading. Her story grabbed me from the first page, and I could not putthe book down. Oliver has an great way with words and is extremelyskilled with descriptions, so the reader will truly feel as if they are in thescenario, experiencing all the things that our protagonist did. This readwas very different and exciting and I enjoyed it completely. Apocalypse:The Memoir is a book that would be best enjoyed by any reader whoenjoys extremely creative writing, a fast paced, fun, and exciting read, orjust an intriguing book in general. I recommend this book, and amcertainly looking forward to seeing what creative work author ChantelleOliver puts forward next!”
