Death's Grip
Dr. Hodges’ wife is dying of cancer. None of the usual treatments have worked. But Hodges’ research is cutting edge, some would even say radical, such as stem cells and a low metabolic state called Induced Hibernation. When his wife disappears, the cops come asking questions. Hodges has a boating accident; no body is recovered.
Ten years later, his daughter Sharon seeks the truth of what happened all those years ago. Eliciting the help of Chicago Tribune reporter James Dysart, she sifts through the rubble left in the wake of her father’s accident.
But as she’ll soon learn, some truths are better left buried . . .
