THE PATH TAKEN is a very sweet story centering around a small community and the people who live there. Gossip and speculation combine to cause Emily hurt and jealousy, possibly resulting in her losing the love of her life. D. K. Abbott did a beautiful job incorporating family secrets into the storyline that fascinated me and enables the reader to see the characters as real people with flaws and desires.~The Romance Junkies
