About

I'm brand new to the writing industry. My first and only book The Wonder was released May of 2011. As a fiction (some say Christian fiction) writer, most of my material comes from the people around me. It took me several years to complete my book because of other duties like; raising children, working, and being a wife. However, once I made up my mind to finish The Wonder it didn't take much time.

"Good book! I loved it! I felt numerous emotions while reading The Wonder. It made me laugh and cry. I can relate to many of the circumstances in the book. The love of family and friends were incredibly present, as well as the love of God. I loved how the characters in the story were able to work through their trials and tribulations by prayer and faith. This is a truly inspiring book."
                                                                                     -Altha R.

"This is a fun book that will have you laughing and thinking. I love the characters. Check it out!"
                                                                                      -Margie D.

"Great book! Kept my interest and really funny!!! Awaiting another book from one of my favorite authors/writers.......Mrs. Melanie Bynum Jackson."
                                                                                        -Shelia B.

"Very entertaining, very relatable to my life. My interest lie in Military History, but that all changed after reading The Wonder. I found myself glued to each page every opportunity that I had to read each sentence and paragraph. I found myself nodding my head and agreeing with each of the characters as I reflected upon my youth growing up in the North Carolina churches I was raised in; seeing each character in my own church from the Pastor down to the Deacons, Mothers and other members of the church. I ended up reading it twice (missing nuggets I did not see before). Indeed, Mrs. Jackson has found a reader/fan for life; can%u2019t wait until the next book comes out!%u201D
                                                                      -Bryan Winfred Massey, Sr.
                                                                      Professor
                                                                     University of Central Arkansas
