Winter Giovanni

Winter Giovanni

About

Winter Giovanni, is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. She is a single mother of five and currently seeking her bachelor's degree in Social Work at Norfolk State University and associate's degree at Thomas Nelson Community College.

Ms. Giovanni started writing her first of three urban novels four years ago. She was inspired by rap artist/actor/author LL Cool J aka Todd James to write, "The Rise and Fall of a Hustler". Knowing that she had a story to tell of living the life of a hustler's wifey including ducking bullets and getting robbed, Ms. Giovanni knew she had a story to tell.

Thus, as she began breathing life into her ink pen, she soon thereafter completed her first manuscript. It laid dormant for two years due to her enduring many trials and tribulations. Soon after getting her feet planted back onto planet rock, Ms. Giovanni became a hurricane and nothing would stop her from getting her book to her future readers. She not only had to prove that dreams can come true, she had five reasons and tiny eyes watching her so she had to keep on keeping on.

"if you can dream it, you can believe it, you can achieve it!"

So, just sit back, relax and enjoy as you are put on an emotional roller coaster as you take a ride on the wild side of Winter Giovanni's lane.

Description

In 1066, the rivalry between two brothers brought England to its knees. When Duke William of Normandy landed at Pevensey on September 28, 1066, no one was there to resist him. King Harold Godwineson was in the north, fighting his brother Tostig and a fierce Viking invasion. How could this have happened? Why would Tostig turn traitor to wreak revenge on his brother?
The Sons of Godwine were not always enemies. It took a massive Northumbrian uprising to tear them apart, making Tostig an exile and Harold his sworn enemy. And when 1066 came to an end, all the Godwinesons were dead except one: Wulfnoth, hostage in Normandy. For two generations, Godwine and his sons were a mighty force, but their power faded away as the Anglo-Saxon era came to a close.
