My name is Patrick O’Keefe. I’m a writer, web developer,entrepreneur and community administrator who has been professionallydeveloping websites since 1998 and managing online communities since2000. Beyond just being the administrator, however, I’ve spentsubstantial amounts of time contributing to communities from allangles, as a member, staff member and owner.

I founded and own the iFroggy Network, an Internet network featuring several communities, including SportsForums.net, KarateForums.com, phpBBHacks.com, PhotoshopForums.com and CommunityAdmins.com. Drawing on my experience, I speak at conferences and events about online community, social media and more.

Besides writing content for the entire iFroggy Network, I haveactively written editorials, news pieces, and product reviews forseveral websites of varying interests, including SitePoint, where I was a long time Advisor (moderator) in the SitePoint Forums. I write for multiple blogs, including YanksBlog.com, ManagingCommunities.com, and Bad Boy Blog, and I maintain a personal blog. I wrote the foreword for Building Online Communities with phpBB, the first book ever published about phpBB, and served as a technical reviewer for the book. I was also a reviewer for Volume I: Foundations and Volume II: Applications of the PHP Anthology and for the book Blog Marketing.

I currently reside in Harbinger, North Carolina.

Cannon's second book of poetry contains messages written through the years in poetic form that put feelings into words. As a teacher, many of her poems helped counsel troubled teens and friends.</p><p>There are three sections in the book: Heads, Spinning, and Tails ... (Love &amp; Loss: Coin Toss?). The variety of lyrical poetry forms include free verse, blank verse, haiku, and sonnets, while some are just playing with words!</p><p>Hopefully, this is also a book of healing.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Sherrill S. Cannon, a former teacher and grandmother of ten, is the author of nine acclaimed rhymed children's books, plus a recent award-winning book of poetry <em>(A Penny for Your Thoughts), </em>which together have received 63 national and international book awards since 2011. She also wrote seven published plays for elementary school children that have been performed in over 25 countries. Most of her children's books emphasize consideration for others. Married for 58 years, she and her spouse are now retired, live in Pennsylvania, and travel in their RV from coast to coast, spending time with their children and grandchildren, and sharing her books along the way!</p><p> </p>
