About

I'm a recovering idealist. I became a lawyer to change the world and am still somewhat shocked that didn't occur. Now, my goal is to retire from practicing law and write novels that people love.

I started with topics I knew--shared experiences of hating my job, searching for something more meaningful and losing a loved one.

I'm moving on to writing legal thrillers.

Story Behind The Book

My father's extraordinary life.

Reviews

"This book is incredibly beautiful. The author deals honestly and thoughtfully about the sadness and emotion that comes from saying goodbye to a terminally ill loved one, and shows how the experience can also bring life into focus and can inspire people to live more meaningfully. The book is beautifully and tenderly written and once I started it, I found it difficult to stop reading. The author's use of details are touching and interesting and I was completely immersed. Highly recommend!"

"I loved this book. My dad died just a few years ago--what I would give to have had that time like Jules to get to know him
REALLY. Boy, it's a little sad, but it's a lot sweeter and it gave me hope that I should really try to do what I feel I really want to do. I have a talent and I need to go for it. It was really neat."
