When people who know me first hear about "Scarlet River," they wonder how a funny, down-to-earth gal such as myself decided to write a book about serial killers. Although writing is a reflection on myself, it is also my escape. My life is pretty calm and involves a lot of laughing. Therefore, my book is the opposite and much more exciting with plenty of twists and yes, murder.
