Amelia Maylock literally jumped in my head one day ... along with all of the books in the series ... a minimum of 9!! I wanted to bring a normal girl to a magical world ... but also mix it with the world that we all know and live in. Amelia isn't safe anywhere ... she could be walking to school and be confronted by any kind of creature ...
