K. Dawn Byrd is an author of inspirational novels in several genres, including, historical, suspense, romance, and young adult. Some of her favorite things are chocolate, cars, and her pets (3 adopted ferrets, 2 spoiled rotten hairless Chinese Cresteds, an African Gray parrot and a myriad of fish.) Her hobbies include reading, writing, and caring for her pets and maintaining several aquariums. When asked why she writes, her response is, "For the simple joy of placing words on the page!"K. Dawn is an avid blogger and gives away several books per week on her blog at www.kdawnbyrd.blogspot.com, most of which are signed by the authors. Dawn Byrd enjoys spending time with her husband of 17 years while walking their dogs beside a gorgeous lake near her home and plotting the next story waiting to be told.
Story Behind The Book
K. Dawn Byrd has always been somewhat of a WWII buff and since she loves to read romantic suspense, it seemed logical to combine the two in a book.
