Story Behind The Book
"I do not claim that my book is a literary masterpiece.
This is a book written by an ordinary woman with a middle class upbringing. A hardworking woman who knows what it is like to take life head on, making the most of situations, believing in herself.
She has listened to her heart and gone by her instinct-doing her best at all times. She has always been true to herself. Understandably, there have been moments of dejection and despair, but she has risen above that.
I am this woman. I know not how to utter measured sentences and I am not guilty that I have at all times tried to break the shackles binding me. I have tried to inhale fresh air, live, breathe and meditate. I have always risen above frivolous attempts to malign my actions or lower my self concept. I have done the best for my family, my home, my career. I have shrugged off disillusionment, hurt and sorrow and with positive thoughts, gone ahead with life.”
