About

Writing is a wonder-filled world I love to immerse myself in every chance I get. I'm thrilled to share the experience one story at a time.
Western romance is my favorite genre, so naturally 'Comanche Haven #1' is my first in 'The Loflin Legacy series with 'Casey's Gunslinger #2 releasing in March 2014.

The Western Werewolf Legend series mixes paranormal romance with history and the wild west. It's an action packed surprise one book after the next. There's 'The Lady in the Mist, followed by 'Waking Up Dead' and finally, 'Wolfen Secrets' complete the trio.
I hope you'll join me in my journey of steamy romance, struggle and discovery as I paint pictures in history. Thanks for dropping by!

I felt like i was back in the civil war era..The descriptions of the scenes where GREAT !!Since I live only an hour away from the gettysburg battlefields..i could really see into the story , feel and smell what the characters were doing at that moment. I'm hoping we get to know more of this Amazing story! THANK YOU Ms Wolfe for writing an awesome book !!</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:20px;">***</span></p> <p><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">I really enjoyed The Lady in the Mist! Ty and Sonja are dealing with being werewolves in a very unstable time. It was fun and delightful to read. Ms. Wolffe's writing style sets the stage for a great read</span><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:20px;">***</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:20px;">This was the first time I'd read anything from this author. Add that this was also a new genre to me, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the talent of the author as well as the characters and plot. I can't wait for the next book to be released!</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:13.63636302947998px;line-height:20px;">***</span></p> <p> </p> <div class="reviewHeader uitext stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-size:12.222222328186035px;line-height:17.98611068725586px;"><a class="user" href="https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/12105770-charidy" style="color:rgb(102,102,0);font-weight:bold;" title="Charidy">Charidy</a> rated it <a class="staticStars stars_4" style="color:rgb(102,102,0);width:75px;height:15px;font-size:0px;white-space:nowrap;vertical-align:top;" title="really liked it">4 of 5 stars</a></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span class="readable" style="font-size:13.333333969116211px;font-family:Georgia, serif;line-height:1.4;"><span>Enjoyed this book and the author's perspective on werewolves and Vampires<br /> The characters are well thought out and each is critical to the story. <br /> I do not want to be a spoiler but Im looking forward to what happens next with Ty and Sonja!<br /><br /> Catherine Wolffe paints a picture of another time and place yet is completely believable. I DO NOT want to be a spoiler but let me say that this story grabs you from the first moment and takes you for an incredible ride. I highly recommend!!!!!</span></span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span class="readable" style="font-size:13.333333969116211px;font-family:Georgia, serif;line-height:1.4;"><span>***</span></span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">This was a very enjoyable werewolf story even though there are vampires in it. It takes place during the Civil War and it makes for an interesting setting. Of course vampires are the enemy of the werewolves. This story was a really good introduction to the series and I can’t wait to read the next one.</span><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">The two main characters struggle to come to terms with everything going on and the changes taking place in both of them. Ty seems like the perfect man to be Sonja’s mate. Sonja did seem a little annoying to me a few times with her reluctance to tell Ty the truth and then running from him when he changes. However it all worked out in the end. The Guardian in this story is a little bit of a mystery. I am not sure if he is a god or maybe father of the werewolves or what. I like the mystery of it though. The witch in the story is helping Sonja along the way and plays a big part in this story too.</span><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">In this story the vampires are not the hot romantic men of the paranormal romance novels. They are vicious, blood sucking, scheming, killing machines but I think the wolves can take them. I normally prefer vampires to werewolves but in this story I am definitely all about the werewolves. </span><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">This book was short. You would be able to read it in a couple sittings but it is worth the time to read it and I am awaiting the sequel to see what happens next and where Ty and Sonja go.</span><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><br style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;" /><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">*I received this book free from author in exchange for an honest review.*</span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">***</span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">There's a lot going on in this werewolf/vampire/Guardian/witch/Yankees v Confederates Book #1 to a new series by Catherine Wolffe. The story starts off simply as Sonja picks peas in her garden on Brooks Farm in Spotsylvania. I was confused about how much time passed between Sonja was attacked and bitten and then nursed back to life by the witch, Hortense, and when Ty is saved and brought to the farm. The best parts are the interactions of the people trying to get to know each other in extraordinary circumstances. A lot of series start out with more questions than answers, but I am sure Catherine Wolff will help the readers make sense of it all in her new series.</span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span style="color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, serif;font-size:13.333333969116211px;line-height:21.111112594604492px;">***</span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"> <div class="reviewHeader uitext stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, sans-serif;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-size:12.222222328186035px;line-height:17.98611068725586px;"><a class="user" href="https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/2315464-marit" style="color:rgb(102,102,0);font-weight:bold;" title="Marit">Marit</a> rated it <a class="staticStars stars_5" style="color:rgb(102,102,0);width:75px;height:15px;font-size:0px;white-space:nowrap;vertical-align:top;" title="it was amazing">5 of 5 stars</a></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span class="readable" style="font-size:13.333333969116211px;font-family:Georgia, serif;line-height:1.4;"><span>The year is 1863. Sonja Brooks is a young widow who lost her husband in the civil war. She goes through a life changing event when she is attacked by a pack of wolfs. Then, she finds a dying rebel, Ty Loflin, mends his wounds, and brings him back to life. <br /> I must say that I was hooked to the book from the first page. Award winning author Catherine Wolffe is a wordsmith. Her pace is consistent, her characters are well developed, and although I was not familiar with the genre-- well, the truth is that the author experiments with a mix of genres such as vampires, werewolves at a different era, etc— I plan to read Catherine Wolffe's other books.</span></span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"><span class="readable" style="font-size:13.333333969116211px;font-family:Georgia, serif;line-height:1.4;"><span>***</span></span></div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"> </div> </div> <div class="reviewText stacked" style="margin-bottom:10px;margin-top:0px;line-height:1.4;color:rgb(24,24,24);font-family:Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12.222222328186035px;"> </div> <p> </p>
