Born in England, moved to Fort Worth, Texas, as a teen and reside there still. I'm the Author of the 'The Mischief Series' 'Mischief in the Mushroom Patch' and 'A Fairy Match in the Mushroom Patch' the third installment of this series is underway.

'The Ghost of Whispering Willow' is a ghost mystery targeted toward 5th-7th grade readers, and is my most recent release. I really enjoyed writing this piece and hope that my readers relate to at least one of the characters in the book, without question, my favorite character is Margaret Rose. My latest novel 'The Greenlee Project' will be released in 2013, as will 'Sadie's Fairy Tea Party.'

I wrote a graphic novel for the Texas Municipal Education Center, about teen driving safety. Its part of the DRSR (Driving on the Right Side of the Road), titled - What If... A Story of Shattered Lives. It was adapted into a Reader's Theater. This script is about the consequences of drinking alcohol and driving and offers middle school students an opportunity to perform and use their voices to depict characters in this tragedy. <p><strong><em>A tragic warrior lost in two worlds... Which one will he choose?</em></strong></p><p>The war in Iraq ended for Freddie when an IED explosion left his mind and body shattered. The second is a dark fantasy realm of quests, demons, and magic, which Freddie enters when he sleeps. Or is he Frederick, Prince of Stormwind, who must make sense of his horrific visions in order to save his embattled kingdom from the monstrous Horde, his only solace the beautiful gardener, Rebecca, whose gentle words calm the storms in his soul.</p><p>In the conscious world, the severely wounded vet faces a strangely similar and equally perilous mission to that of the prince—a journey along a dark road, haunted by demons of guilt and memory. Story Behind The Book

This is the second installment of The Mischief Series, 'Mischief in the Mushroom Patch' is the first volume. I created 'Mischief in the Mushroom Patch' for my mom, because she loved fairies. I adored the little fairies that I'd created in the fantasy world and thought that children would enjoy characters that were sweet and kind. For that reason Lilly, Boris and Jack, are back. Yet in A Fairy Match in the Mushroom Patch we meet beautiful Pearle. Watch how Lily, Boris, Jack, Ivy, Rose and Pearle learn to work as a team. During what could have been a loss of their homes they pull together doing as much as young fairies can do to help their elders to save the Mushroom Patch from certain destruction. In this charming, whimsical, fun filled book Amanda Thrasher has made a true home run. Lilly, Boris and Jack have matured a bit, and have found a new friend, Pearle, who steals our hearts as she gives rides to her friends on her chariot wheelchair. This delightful story combines wonderful life-lessons of working together, helping each other, and playing together as the fairies go to their "class-schrooms", share "fairy-cress sandwiches", play "find a fairy", go "leaf rafting", act out "fairy-shrades" and ultimately learn the values of friendship and teamwork in their "fairy kick a berry"match! What a great way to entertain children, while stretching their imaginations.
