About

Writing is a wonder-filled world I love to immerse myself in every chance I get. I'm thrilled to share the experience one story at a time.
Western romance is my favorite genre, so naturally 'Comanche Haven #1' is my first in 'The Loflin Legacy series with 'Casey's Gunslinger #2 releasing in March 2014.

The Western Werewolf Legend series mixes paranormal romance with history and the wild west. It's an action packed surprise one book after the next. There's 'The Lady in the Mist, followed by 'Waking Up Dead' and finally, 'Wolfen Secrets' complete the trio.
I hope you'll join me in my journey of steamy romance, struggle and discovery as I paint pictures in history. Thanks for dropping by!

Story Behind The Book

The story of Sonja Brooks, a Civil War widow who’s bitten and turned into a werewolf continues in Waking Up Dead. She saves a Rebel solider, Tyler Loflin from dying and inadvertently changes him into a werewolf with the sharing of her blood. Yankee vampires attack, planning to kidnap Sonja, because her blood allows them to walk in the light. Sonja and Ty escape, using a wagon train of refugees headed west as cover. Along with retreating Rebel soldiers and Sonja’s family, they leave Pennsylvania, venturing into unknown territory where life has teeth. There are hard lessons for both new wolfs from the witch, Hortence, the wolf god, Guardian and a new ally, the vampire, Major General Jeb Stewart. Sonja struggles while learning to manage these lessons and her werewolf instincts. She pushes Ty away, deciding her mate is safer apart from her. Little does she know the move will place her in mortal risk. Loving Sonja is as natural as breathing for Ty, even with her objections. He vows to protect his woman and the train no matter what. However, fate has a lesson or two of its own for both werewolves.
