Senserial - A New and Innovative way of Publishing and Reading

Senserial Publishing is a digital publishing house, which offers novels as a digital series for an affordable price.

To encourage people to read more, we have worked out a new way of reading novels. We decided to slice the reading into “pieces. Every season, we are going to publish a new story in an eBook format.

We offer two different versions of each episode:

  • enhanced files with some pictures for eReaders (.pdf,.epub,.mobi)
  • a special feature designed for tablets (iPad,Galaxy, etc.), which contains a soundtrack and graphics

We are also building an online community, where creative projects will be posted by writers, artists, composers and producers and the readers will rank them.

Our community will be a place, where writers, artists and readers will interact with each other and we believe that this is one of keys to creating the best quality.

Description

When Jessica Bryant pesters her wealthy parents to allow her to have a dog as a pet, the answer is a resounding "No"; but they soon come to regret their decision when thier home is broken into one evening whilst they are out and their daughter kidnapped and held for ransom. The kidnappers, in the form of four seedy and incompetent characters wearing Disneyland-type masks, take her hostage and keep her incarcerated in a place from which there appears to be no escape. However, they reckon without the resourcefulness of our heroine, and the courage of a wonderful stray dog who comes to her aid and whom she names 'Murdo'. And so begins an exciting and humurous accounting of the couples' adventures together as they consistently foil and outwit the abductors whilst on the run together.
This is a lovely story of the friendship between a girl and a dog, bringing out themes of responsibility, camaraderie, redemption, salvation and self-sacrifice. It includes some wonderful dialogue sequences as Jessica teaches her new four-legged friend how to communicate with her, with additional delightful conversations between the animals when a rabbit and a sparrow join forces with them in an effort to outwit the kidnappers and restore Jessica safely back to her parents' home.

Story Behind The Book

Reviews

The Wolf of the Highlands by Bil Howard is an interesting fantasy story with a very complex and unique concept.

The story is about a man in modern times who takes a hike into the wilds to calm his troubled mind. So why is it that he still feels empty? What do his very strange dreams mean? Or are they dreams at all? And why does a wolf keep following him? These are the questions that his story raises towards the initial part of the book.

Despite the complexity I found it impossible to stop reading the book till it ended as I wanted all the questions raised desperately. As the writing style was good and mature, with no spelling or grammatical errors detectable, I enjoyed the ride.

Review was posted in http://forums.onlinebookclub.org
