VincentEaton is a storyteller in words, images and performance. His novel,SELF- PORTRAIT OF SOMEONE ELSE, was first published by VikingPenguin, New York, in 1989 and was re-issued in 2009. His humorbook, “HOW TO FIND YOURSELF (or a reasonable facsimile)” was alsopupblishing in 2009 by Hidden People Publishing. Hiswork has appeared in The Cortland Review, The Barcelona Review, TheFray, Other Voices Magazine, On the Page, The Wooster Review, TheTonaph Review. Theaterplays have won awards in the USA and Europe, most recently MAX DIX,ZERO TO SIX won best original play (FEATS, Stockholm, 2008) and theGeorgeTaylor Memorial Award inthe UK's National Drama Festival Association Playwriting Competitionfor 2007/2008;BOOM won the Mervyn Brisco award (FEATS, The Hague, 2006), STAY wonbest original play plus Mervyn Brisco award (FEATS, Brussels, 1984);THE MAN WHO WOULD FLOAT AWAY was a multi-nominated, award winning,comedy-drama at the Washington D.C. Theater Festival, 1998). He alsowrites, directs, edits short videos and digital stories, and is avoice actor. Born in California, he is based in Europe.

<p style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height:115%;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;font-size:12pt;">Elisabeth was rude and selfish and demanding, and therefore had very few friends.<span>  </span>When she sent out invitations to her birthday party, no one accepted.<span>  </span>Her mother warned her that she needed to improve her manners and to try to get along with people.<span>  </span>She told Elisabeth that she needed to use the magic word “Please”.<span>  </span>So when Elisabeth went to school the next day, she thought of her mother’s advice, “What is the magic word?” and she started saying “Please” and also “Thank You”.<span>  </span>She tried to become more thoughtful of others, and discovered that she was a much happier person.<span>  </span>Imagine her pleasure when she returned home to find out that her new friends were all coming to her birthday party!</span><span style="line-height:115%;font-family:Arial, 'sans-serif';font-size:10pt;"></span></p><p></p>
