About

When I was 12, my family drove for three days to the World's Fair in Vancouver. Since the iPhone had not been invented, I was forced to read. I picked the "Elf Stones of Shannara" by Terry Brooks and fell in love with his fantasy novels. I've wanted to write something similar to his work since finishing his story. I hope I've achieved it.

I've been married for 18 years to the world's most beautiful woman, and I have four great kids. About four years ago, I heard a news story on NPR: Nine out of ten people felt they had a novel in them. After listening to that, I decided to give my dream a shot and write a great book. Well, after taking writing classes, several books on effective writing, and 20 drafts, I've discovered why so few authors are published-- It's really hard work.
