About

I write a spirituality column for The Prairie Catholic of the Diocese of New Ulm, Minnesota. My work is also published in The Catholic Times of La Crosse, Wisconsin. My short e-book, Five Lessons from the Carmelite Saints That Will Change Your Life, spent several weeks in Amazon's Top 100 Catholic Books, and has been featured in Amazon's Best Book of the Month list.

I homeschool my four sons with the goal of teaching them to live a contemplative lifestyle. I blog on my efforts and on Carmelite Spirituality at Contemplative Homeschool. I also administer Catholic Spirituality Blogs Network, a community of over 20 bloggers focused on growing closer to Christ. I have been a guest blogger at Suscipio4Women, Catholic Lane, and Being Catholic. My husband Dan is Coordinator of Staff and Director of Communications for the Diocese of New Ulm.
