If the Lord can accept me and see me as perfection, even in my messed up ways, then why can't the world do the same."

Story Behind The Book

Soldier Girl 2 is inspired by true events. It was written under a pseudonym because the author was afraid to tell her story in public. After the release of the book, Donetha Polite revealed in an interview with DetermineD Magazine, her own magazine, about the pain and hurt of growing up in a dysfunctional family.
