About

Author Bio:

I live in Upwey, a very leafy suburb of outer Melbourne. I can hear most Melbournians say, ‘where?’ Think Puffing Billy, the hills and inexcusably steep driveways and you're there. We have a house with room for the kids to play in the backyard, the cat to sleep wherever and the husband to have his back shed.

All the while, the investigation continues, and the disturbing, convoluted, and complicated web surrounding the threats begins to unravel, placing the characters’ lives in grave danger.

Intersection is a taut political thriller that combines the action and suspense found in hit television shows like 24 with the insight and drama found in the widely popular fiction of LGBT authors such as R. Story Behind The Book

Eden has fled to the beautiful high country in the Victorian Alps to escape her domineering family and to enjoy her greatest passion – photography. When she happens on a very attractive man swimming in a river, she can't resist snapping a few shots of him for her portfolio. Adam Blackstone is an undercover cop living locally to infiltrate a gang of bikies suspected of drug trafficking. He soon realises the beautiful stranger in town has been photographing him and has to find out why. Adam is a man who can't trust anyone. He's intense, damaged, jaded. Eden is a woman who has spent her life wrapped in cottonwool, protected by controlling parents. They must both open their hearts and learn to trust one another if they are ever to be together. But first they must survive the danger that threatens to tear them apart. Double Exposure is an intense and thrilling romance that offers a blast of fresh alpine air in a pristine landscape. But amid the beautiful birdlife and the picturesque views lurks a menace that could spell disaster for Eden and Adam.

Charmaine Ross draws us into Paradise itself through the romance between Adam and Eden set in this beautiful and wild landscape. But even Paradise has its serpents, incarnated here in the form of bikies.
What I loved most about this book was its beautiful evocation of setting and the way it was woven into the wider story of innocent and deceit. The romance between Adam and Eden was gentle and deeply imagined. Another layer of myth and romance has been added to my conception of the Victorian Alps.
