Hello,
I'm Megan Brown. I've always been interested in life sciences and I've been drawing animals since I can remember. Creating fun, illustrated books is the best and most direct way for me share my love of art, animals, science, and nature with the world.
Absorbing new material has always been much easier for me by associative learning. My notebooks always feature little doodles in the margins reflective of whatever material I'm studying - whether its statistics or a cookie recipe.
My books are for anyone with a sense of humor and/or an interest in animals. All of the illustrations feature anthropomorphized critters engaging in somewhat familiar activities related to the text, which transforms these hard facts into fun, relevant content for anyone!
The books are written using passive voice, so the material remains accessible to everyone - from younger readers to the more distinguished.
Description
The Pacific Plate is one of the most geological active areas in the world, and the site of constant volcanic and earthquake activity. The Ring of Fire, in the Pacific Ocean, will soon escalate its impact on mankind. Two brothers, one a geologist and one a surfer are at the center of and event that will change the Earth, forever.

My love of animals and their behavior hasn't died since childhood - and I'd like to share it with all of you through fun, illustrated books!
