About
Frankie Ash grew up on the eastern shores of the US, and her Southern accent would rock as a cartoon character voice. Most of her time is spent with her laptop, spinning tales, fabricating worlds, and writing new creatures into existence. But when she’s not playing Dr. Frankenstein with words, she is either reading, absorbing anything sci-fi/fantasy related, or chasing after, and sometimes capturing, things that go bump in the night.
Her debut novel, Eramane (Archway Publishing) is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, IndieBound, and Kobo.

Godwine Kingmaker: Part One of The Last Great Saxon Earls
Description

Harold Godwineson, the Last Anglo-Saxon King, owed everything to his father. Who was this Godwine, first Earl of Wessex and known as the Kingmaker? Was he an unscrupulous schemer, using King and Witan to gain power? Or was he the greatest of all Saxon Earls, protector of the English against the hated Normans? The answer depends on who you ask. He was befriended by the Danes, raised up by Canute the Great, given an Earldom and a wife from the highest Danish ranks. He sired nine children, among them four Earls, a Queen and a future King. Along with his power came a struggle to keep his enemies at bay, and Godwine's best efforts were brought down by the misdeeds of his eldest son Swegn. Although he became father-in-law to a reluctant Edward the Confessor, his fortunes dwindled as the Normans gained prominence at court. Driven into exile, Godwine regathered his forces and came back even stronger, only to discover that his second son Harold was destined to surpass him in renown and glory.

Story Behind The Book
'Eramane' is the first book in The Eramane Trilogy. I began writing it over ten years ago, and I'm so stoked that it's finally published!
Eramane is a seventeen-year-old girl who seems to have it all: a well-to-do family, a loving older brother, a handsome suitor. Her story, the thread behind the plot, is what kept me writing through the years, when at times I thought the story would stay a forgotten file on my PC. But, during the decade, moments of an undeniable need to write Eramane's story would arise, and I would find myself, many times, working it out at 3 a.m.
The reason I believe so strongly in Eramane is because she is fierce, yet fragile. Her motivations are legit and her purpose is irrevocable. I found myself in tears more than a few times at certain points in this first book. It's not a typical happily-ever-after story; Eramane's journey is trecherous, physically and mentally, and I am committed to keeping an authenticity to this trilogy. That said though, Eramane is full of suprises, good and bad, and...you just have to read it to find out!
If I were not the author and I were to rate Eramane...well this isn't going to work because I am and I did. Since I've read it's of poor taste to rate your own book, (boooo!) I won't. But before I finish I would just like to say that I love nickels, FIVE dollar bills, FIVE dollar footlongs, FIVE Finger Death Punch, world FIVE of NES Super Mario Bros, FIVE golden rings...you get my point:)
