About

Each workday morning, I kick off my shoes (because they are not allowed) and get down on the floor to play, snuggle and care for the infants enrolled in the Christian daycare where I am employed. It's not a high paying job in the form of a paycheck, but it's very rewarding in many other ways!

Outside of work, I've always loved spending my alone time with nothing but my thoughts and some writing equipment, be it paper and pen or a computer. In the early days of my writing career, poetry was my thing, and it eventually led to the writing of my first book, 'Poetically Said! Pathways of the Heart'. In recent years, I have become more interested in writing stories for children. I am currently working on the third book in the Willow Crossing trilogy for middle-graders. I plan to release 'Nameless Nickels' sometime in 2014. Aside from middle grade books, I decided to try my hand at a Christmas book for younger children. My latest project, 'Rubber Duck Finds Christmas' is a Christian themed book and so far it has been my favorite piece of work. I plan to write more Rubber Duck adventures real soon!
