Hi,
I'm Charmain, and I live in a pretty market town in Hampshire in the UK with my partner, four children, two cats, and countless chickens and ducks. Actually, I was very tempted to write and a partridge in a pear tree at the end of that sentence, but that would be silly (although I just wrote it).
I write in the horror/fantasy/mystery genre, under my full name Charmain Marie Mitchell. The first book I wrote was called 'The Lust for Blood' and is an anthology of 13 very graphic and gory horror stories, the book is currently free in the UK and USA and its been downloaded about 25,000 times.
I am currently writing the 'Vampire' series of books, the first book being 'Vampire - In the Beginning'. The story is about the five hundred year old vampire called Gwen and her life, starting in Tudor England, the series will follow her journey until present time. 'Vampire - In the beginning is currently free in the UK and USA and it's been downloaded about 12,000 times. I have just released the second book 'Vampire - Child of Destiny' and I have been blown away by it's popularity and great reviews.
I've also started a new series of books called 'Mary Howard, Supernatural Investigator', which should be ready for release in April/May 2014 and then I will be continuing with the 3rd book in the 'Vampire' series, which should be available in October 2014.
Here are just a few of the 5* reviews I have received for the books mentioned above:
