Description

Richard II found himself under siege not once, but twice in his minority. Crowned king at age ten, he was only fourteen when the Peasants' Revolt terrorized London. But he proved himself every bit the Plantagenet successor, facing Wat Tyler and the rebels when all seemed lost. Alas, his triumph was short-lived, and for the next ten years he struggled to assert himself against his uncles and increasingly hostile nobles. Just like in the days of his great-grandfather Edward II, vengeful magnates strove to separate him from his friends and advisors, and even threatened to depose him if he refused to do their bidding. The Lords Appellant, as they came to be known, purged the royal household with the help of the Merciless Parliament. They murdered his closest allies, leaving the King alone and defenseless. He would never forget his humiliation at the hands of his subjects. Richard's inability to protect his adherents would haunt him for the rest of his life, and he vowed that next time, retribution would be his.
B.R.A.G. Story Behind The Book

I was raised in a Christian family yet I did not understand how to experience a victorious Christian life. I thought that the fact that I was born in a Christian family, I was a preacher's kid, and I was very active in ministry, I would be automatically a good person, living a life that would be pleasing to God. I was wrong because I found myself in bondage to sin and indulging in sexual immorality. I began to be very confused. I started to pray more, fast more, read my Bible more, and be more active in ministry in the pursuit of having victory over my sinful condition. Consequently, I became worst in my carnal practice. This time around I was even more confused about my walk with God. It was until God opened my eyes about the truth found in Romans 6:6: "We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin." My problem was that, I was looking for a victory that I already had in Christ. I put myself under the power of enemies that Christ has already defeated on my behalf. The truth is, Jesus Christ, at the cross, has already defeated all the enemies that were looking to keep me under the bondage of sin. He has already won the victory for me. All I had to do was to come to the end of myself, stop struggling for victory and start operating under Christ's Victory. And this is the truth about the Christian's victory. Once I understood and accepted that truth, and learned to apply it in my life, I started to experience true victory over my struggle. I had the strength to say no to sin, and became so strong in my faith in Christ. And now I am completely free from them. I wrote this book to share the principles from the word of God that have helped me to experience true victory over my sin. My victory over my enemies is not a victory that was won through prayer, reading my Bible or other religious means. My victory was already won at the cross in Christ Jesus. If you are connected to Jesus as the source of your victory you will surely be able to walk From Victory to Victory. I encourage you to read this book and you will not regret it. It is very practical and It will change your life.
