Story Behind The Book

I had a dream in 1999 that became a scene in the last chapter of the book. The novel began as a flash story and other writers badgered me to expand the idea. Eventually I had a second dream that appears in one of the middle chapters. At first, the story was a literary drama, but I felt compelled to add sci-fi / fantasy touches and the alternate history build-up and lore about December 21, 2012, the story became a lot more fun. I enjoy the appearance of the extraordinary in ordinary daily life.
