About

Brinda Berry lives in the southern US with her family and a spunky cairn terrier. Brinda writes young adult and new adult romances. She's terribly fond of chocolate, coffee, and books that take her away from reality.  She doesn't mind being called a geek or “crazy dog lady”. When she's not working the day job or writing a novel, she's guilty of surfing the internet for no good reason.

Story Behind The Book

While writing my last book in the Serendipity series, two exciting secondary characters got together on a dance floor and set it on fire. I knew at that moment that I'd be writing a book about Dylan and Emerson. Ah, Emerson. She's a college student, housekeeper, devoted friend, and funny girl in Seducing Fortune. Sometimes we meet a person and believe we know their background based on the few facts we know. Emerson is one of those girls. She's confident in her own skin and doesn't feel the need to set people straight about her morals, background, and problems. But she's struggling. And she's trying to put the past behind her until life throws another monkey wrench in the mix. I loved putting Emerson and Dylan together on the page.
