~~Dr. Paul V. Cassano is a retired Professor of Romance Languages. His University career involved a lengthy tenure as an academic administrator. He has served as a Dean of Arts, a Vice President Academic and a Senior Vice President, External. He has also seen service as a President of a Faculty Union and President of A Provincial Faculty Confederation. His multifaceted 45 year career in higher education has given him the wealth of experience required to examine the inner workings of the academy as well as the foibles and talents of those associated with it. Finally, he is also an accomplished scholar, having published more than 50 articles in learned journals on the subject of language and linguistics.
