About

Brooke Brown is an inspirational Christian author, speaker, storyteller, and advocate who describes herself as “an ink weaver of life, faith and fiction.” Through her writing, ministry, workshops, podcasting, and public speaking, Brooke shares stories that bring glory to God, inspire hope, and help others discover the purpose within their own experiences. An honors graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, Brooke is also Ms. Wheelchair Arizona 2022, the Arizona State Coordinator for Ms. Wheelchair America, and the founder of Brooke’s Butterfly Touch: Creative Storytelling Services. Her ministry is dedicated to helping individuals give voice to their personal stories in ways that encourage healing, acceptance, understanding, and new opportunities. Living with cerebral palsy, Brooke uses her personal journey to encourage others facing life’s most profound challenges. Although she is fully able to speak, the spasticity in her muscles makes her natural speech more difficult to understand, so she often uses an augmentative communication app on her phone. Her courage, faith, and creativity shine through her work, making her voice a powerful source of encouragement for readers seeking inspirational memoirs, Christian memoirs, and books for disabled individuals and families. Brooke’s books, including *Adapt: Discover God’s Purpose for Your Gifts and Limitations*, *The Little Butterfly Girl*, and *Transforming the Heart of YOUR Story*, reflect her belief that every life has meaning, every limitation can be used by God, and every story has the power to inspire others. Through faith-centered storytelling, she invites readers to see their struggles not as barriers, but as part of a greater purpose.

Story Behind The Book

Rolling in Grace: Volume 1 was born out of years of prayer, reflection, encouragement, and a deep desire to use my story for something greater than myself. For a long time, friends, assistants, classmates, and people in my life lovingly encouraged me to write my memoir. I had always loved storytelling, especially faith-filled fiction and fairytales, but God gradually showed me that my real-life story also had a purpose. Living with cerebral palsy has shaped nearly every part of my journey. I rely on a power wheelchair, live with a speech impairment, and have spent much of my life adapting to a world that is not always accessible or understanding. Yet through the pain, misunderstandings, limitations, and unexpected turns, I have also seen the grace and goodness of Jesus in powerful ways. This book began when I realized that my experiences were not meant to stay hidden in journals or private memories. They could become a source of empathy, truth, and hope for others. I wanted to write more than an autobiography about disability. I wanted to create a safe place for readers who feel unseen, discouraged, misunderstood, or limited by their circumstances. Rolling in Grace is the story of how God has used my imagination, faith, struggles, and even my limitations to shape my purpose. My prayer is that readers will see they are not alone in their own “Wonderland” of challenges. I hope my story helps them recognize that God is still working, even in the painful places, and that every life has meaning, beauty, and a story worth telling.
