Author: Amy Houts lives in rural northwest, Missouri, although she was born in New York and lived in a number of states, including Maryland, Kansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi. These different regions of the country helped her experience the wide variety and abundance of food from different cultures. She is the author of numerous articles and more than two dozen childrens' books. A tribute to her passion of educating children through her writing. She lives with her husband, Steve, and there much-loved boxer-mix, Pepper.
