Story Behind The Book

When I was seventeen, I wrote a novel during a high school independent study class that earned me an "A" in the course, but which was written off by a professional critic as having “fatal flaws” even after several entire rewrites. One desperate day, I asked Spirit if I’d ever have anything published. Suddenly, I found myself in library that would dwarf the largest library I’ve ever physically seen. I went through the stacks until I found a little book with my name on it. It was titled, "Looking, Seeing and Knowing." Not only did I feel totally incapable of writing what I sensed was in that book, but I couldn’t imagine myself ever being the person who wrote it. Now I understand why. I was told in channeling that the person who was me in my earlier life was contracted to follow a path where he left this world a few years ago. I kept living physically, but after that point, my perspective on life became a lot clearer. I think it probably got almost as clear as if I had gone to the other side like I was supposed to. I look back at the person I was when I first went to that library on the astral plane, and it’s as hard for me to relate to him as it was then for him to relate to me. I AM a new person, and I know when it happened. I was 52, and I’d just finished my first draft of my first book, “The Ancient Secret of the Big Fake-out.” That was my lifeline as I retraced my life in its pages in an attempt to decipher a life thatwhich felt all wrong. That’s when I met my wife, Danna, who channeled a mutual member of our immediate soul family. He began telling me things I couldn’t quite understand. This led me to ask about EVERYTHING on the inner. Gradually, answers flowed easier and I grew closer to my own guides. They’d help me get the concepts right, and kept disturbing me until my presentation of themit was at least close enough. I was blessed with a second chance at a better life and so was "The BIG Fake-out," which was rewritten and retitled "The Big Fake-out, the Illusion of Limits." These answers also finally made sense out of that vision I had decades ago about finding a book in the astral library with my name on it. Suddenly, I realized why I couldn’t imagine ever being the person who wrote that book. I never got the material for it until after my contracted life was complete!
