I wrote The Final War and 3001 because I care about humanity. This world is in our hands. We have to protect it in our thoughts and in our deeds. Without our intervention, intolerance could lead to the ultimate catastrophe--a war between Christianity and Islam bringing Earth to the brink of disaster. My book is a fiction but it could happen. Yet, my book is also a story about how the world could be--a world better for everyone in it, a world without hunger or greed. That's what matters to me. I hope that it matters to you.
