Story Behind The Book

This is a book of short stories in three parts. Part one of Welsh Cakes: Book of Short Stories contains fictionalized stories of the author's life. There are nine stories about a Welsh girl named Gwen and takes the reader by her side from the age of six, through the heartbreaking sickness of her mother, into adulthood when she enters a convent. Part two has eight short stories varying from romance to murder, with protagonists both old and young, some male and some female. They take us through many twists and turns and often have surprise endings. Part three has 24 postcard and short-short stories with a lot of depth in a few words.
