Story Behind The Book

I was a continent away and homesick for New York City. I missed real pizza, and began to think about a young woman who might have grown up in the shadow of pizza, sauce and cheese. What if she had a domineering father who had only wanted to make the best, Out of This World, pizza in the city. Donna Gimignano was born.
