Having been born in Scotland, my father gave me my name after Bonnie Prince Charlie, so since I was a very small kid I have always felt a very strong connection to him and to his life.
In this historical fiction, you will find the story of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite Rising of 1745, some reflections upon the concept of reincarnation, as well as insights into Christian Spiritism and the religious lines of African origin known as Candomblé and Umbanda.

In the summer of 1745, the eldest son of the exiled King James VIII & III, Prince Charles Edward Stuart, arrives in Scotland alone in an attempt to reinstate his Catholic father to the British throne.
