Story Behind The Book

Christine Tricarico's picture book Cock A Doodle DANCE! (illustrated by Rich Deas) will be published by Feiwel & Friends, hitting shelves in Spring 2012 … A dreary barnyard perks up when Rooster catches a contagious jitter-bug & his farm friends follow suit doing the chicken cha-cha, turkey tango, heifer hoedown …but will they stop their non-stop, barnyard bop long enough to fix their frazzled farm? This is a rollicking read-aloud romp for children ages 2-7 . They will love the rowdy refrain & learn a bit about the dances from the glossary that follows.
