Well over a decade ago, I read a book about a young woman who operated a dating agency. At that time, datings services hadn't become quite the "thing" they are now, and I was fascinated by the concept. Immediately I wondered, what if such an agency existed for Christians? I played with it in my head. Stewed over it as I washed dishes, mulled it over as I made beds, dreamed up scenes as I drove down the road. I talked about writing a book based around a Christian dating agency when I was interviewed, but the only real "work" I'd done on it was in my head. Then one day, it was as if God pointed a finger at me and said, "It's time. Do it." By this time, the dating agency had a name - Solomon's Gate - and it had become an entire series of books, rather than a single stand-alone. I started writing. God started leading. Things started happening...little touches of the divine that made their way into Solomon's Gate. I had such a wonderful time with this series, and God taught me so much through it. Love it, love it, love it!
