Story Behind The Book
Watching a couple of children playing one day, I realized that one of them needed to learn how to share. How could I make little ones think about sharing without turning it into a "lesson"? That's how Mine! came to be.
Reviews
This is a charming story in rhyme about Amanda, a little girl who has trouble sharing. Naturally any parent, caretaker, or teacher has run into this problem many times. This tale will resonate with young children who either experience this problem or see it in their playmates. The artwork is bold and daring with its wide-eyed characters. Delia Latham, whose "chosen genre is that of inspirational romance," has chosen to share her take on sharing and friendship ... gleaned from the experience of her own wide-eyed moppets. This story would be an excellent choice to read and discuss during circle or story time in the classroom or homeschool setting.

D. Fowler
