This month we were jumping with joy when we saw this tweet on Twitter:

We ask ourselves only one question at the start of each day and that is, "how do we help authors sell more books?" Towards this end, we've got a number of exciting announcements for this month before giving out our traditional best of BookBuzzr book lists.
Announcing the Launch of the Official BookBuzzr Blog:
We've launched a new blog to motivate you, inspire you and fill you with book marketing ideas! Our first blog post titled "The Seven Book Marketing Mistakes That Authors Make" is now available. Please take a moment to read it. You'll find a wealth of best practices that we've documented after studying the book promotion efforts of authors like you. Maybe you'll even find yourself or some author you know featured in the blog.
A Stunning New BookBuzzr Book Reader
We've also launched a new, improved book reader with a number of important innovations to help you sell more books. You'll notice that we've made the "Buy" option much more prominent. And we've also included "Buy" links at the end of your book. Do take a look at how your own book appears and see if you like it. If you have any ideas or suggestions we'll be delighted to consider them.
Do You Want to Promote Your Book with a Secret New Technology?
We're also working on an ultra-secret book marketing concept. The invention that we're working on is so powerful that it's undergoing a patenting process. This new technology is expected to help authors promote their books in a whole new way by combining gaming with book marketing. We're looking for a few authors to act as beta users and give us feedback. If you'd like to participate in this beta program, please send us a request for an invite by February 7th 2010 and we'll tell you more about what we're working on.
