November was one of our best month's ever! At a quantitative level we got a very large number of authors who signed-up and joined the tribe! At a qualitative level, we received some very interesting feedback. The best of these was from Patric McDonald, author of 'America's Dumbest Doctors' who said, "BookBuzzr is a light-year beyond what Amazon's 'Look Inside' feature can do for a book on the web." Thank you for your support, feedback and continued use of BookBuzzr. This month, we're pleased to announce the BookBuzzr Movers and Shaker's List. The BookBuzzr Movers and Shakers List Motivates You Everyday! Marketing and promoting your book online requires consistent, regular effort. As you know, this is easier said than done. It happens to all of us. Some days you spend hours marketing your book. On other days, you find that you lack motivation. The BBMS List is intended to motivate you everyday, help you benchmark your efforts against the efforts of other authors and get you to enjoy the task of book-marketing with a little light-hearted competition. The BookBuzzr Movers and Shakers List consists of the following lists: 1. A graph of the three books whose views have changed most radically over the last 7 days.
2. A list of ten books that got the most number of readers in a 24 hour period (as noted through the book-tweeting Feature.) 3. A complete listing of all books on BookBuzzr and their associated rank in terms of widget and full-screen views. You can scroll down this list and compare your book views against the views received by other books. The BookBuzzr Movers and Shakers List gives near real-time information about how your book is performing relative to other books. Those who are serious about their book-marketing would do well to set up this page as your home page so that you can see which books are doing well and then figure out a way to do the same things that those authors are doing in order to market your book.
