I would have never thought one could fit in billionaire Russian tycoons, beautiful sunny Caribbean islands, sexy wives, and ... wait for it ... werewolves in a book and still make it so fun to read. But E. R. Bain did a great job achieving this seemingly impossible concoction in an entertaining story.

I was a werewolf "virgin" before I read this book. I would have never read it except for the sexy image of two sexy looking humans on it its cover.

Ever heard the saying "Don't Judge a book by its cover"? Well, that saying does not apply in this case. the book is as hot and sizzling as the cover suggests. Yes, the ominous purple beast in the background does add to the allure and the sizzle of the book.

Obviously, if you are looking for what some critics call "believable" characters or story line, this book is not for you. But the real world is mundane and boring - if you're like me and want to take an exciting vacation, an escape into the world of imagination - this is a great book!

Not for children because of mature content and erotic scenes.

I don't mind fantasy and mythological creatures with bionic ligaments and such. The style of writing and the descriptions of scenes and actions were great, but this story had some logical inconsistencies (like wearing a purple fur coat in the middle of the tropical rainforest, why would anyone be cold there?). Things like that drove me away from reading the rest of the book. Great intimate scenes though.

This story was so over the place it's ridiculous!!! It was hard for me to even finish it, not including the excerpt at the end. After making it through this book, I have no desire to read even a little of the next. I love a good fantasy related story but this one isn't good at all. Almost makes me not want to read any other "were-species" related books.

I love were books!!! Doesn't matter what species. This book contains jackals, bears and wolves. The sex scenes were pretty good. But what upset me was there was no sense to the story. We start off with her being forced to marry. There is a child who is not really their son. She has been kidnapped. Why? There is some kind of entity inside her? What is the back story on the characters?Story was just too all over the place for me. Will not read the rest of this series. Will read more by this author but not this one.

About the author

I spent my childhood writing whole stories as whirrly scribbles in infant ruler copy books. As I grew older I graduated to Mills and Boon and then fat romance sagas. I fell in love with manga at an early age and decided to take a page from Rumiko Takahashi and decided to go to college and get my degree before following up in my writing career. In my writing life I have had one poem published before attending first Claflin University and the the University of Southern Caribbean where I earned a degree in Computing with an emphasis in software systems, along with a minor in English. Do Or Die is my first novella release since graduating from University.
