The first volume is God's Children and second volume Kingdom Of God was published during summer 2016. As an author his main influences are classical writers like Leo Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevsky and Jane Austin, but he loves also J. K. Rowling, and The Holy Bible always influences him. Pertti's main sources of inspiration are his 4 lovely grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the charming, cute Sacred Birman cat. You guessed, she is Lucy The Cat. And, of course the world events have their impact in life and sometimes also in writing. Pertti's favorite hobbies are music, reading, movies, photography and traveling.

Pertti A Pietarinen was born in Finland. He studied mathematics and computer sciences at the University in Helsinki, Finland. For thirty-eight years he worked globally in IT, games and mobile communications business, mostly in Finland, U.S.A and Japan.

During his business career he always had a dream to write books. This dream came into reality late 2010 when his first book was published.

Pertti’s first children’s books were published in 2014 and his main project has been the book series Lucy The Cat. Lucy The Cat is a Sacred Birman Cat and in this book series she tells about her busy and funny life with beautiful pictures and Lucy’s own words.

So far 6 volumes have been published and the story continues. These books are available in English, Finnish and as bilingual Japanese – English. The volumes are:

• Lucy The Cat

• Lucy The Cat: Little Brother

• Lucy The Cat Play With Me

• Lucy The Cat and Little Sisters

• Lucy The Cat Christmas

• Lucy The Cat Sushi Time

Another projects is inspirational Christian picture book series God’s Children. The first volume is God’s Children and second volume Kingdom Of God will be published during summer 2016.

Pertti’s fascinating, illustrated fairy tale book "Kissa Kiiskinen sankarina ja muita satuja" was published in March, 2014. So far it is available only in Finnish, but hopefully some day translated also in English.

His 3 first books, published in 2010-2012, belong to Christian genre and are available only in Finnish.

As an author his main influences are classical writers like Leo Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevsky and Jane Austin, but he loves also J. K. Rowling, and The Holy Bible always influences him.

I am a huge fan of the author, Pertti Pietarinen. Though I would recognize myself a grown-up (well, most of the times,,,), I find his heart-warming children's books not only great readings for kids but also great stories to enjoy by myself.
I have read his another children's book 'Lucy the Cat' and can recommend both books most highly.

The author continues his signature style - warm and very loving - in God's Children. Just as Lucy the Cat (IBAN: 1494444135), God's Children is filled with loving messages in easy-to-follow manner.

This is a wonderful book to read for your kids. The warm story will not only help to instill a solid sense of morality and love in your kids but also console you. The book reminds us that we are all God's beloved children.

God's Children is a beautiful and well-written reminder of God's unconditional love for us all.

It is written in a manner to be easily understood by small children, including engaging in child-level conversations concerning creation, God and his love for us, and Jesus Christ. One doesn't need to be an adult to understand about God, and this book reaches out to children at a level suitable for them.

God's Children is a short, simple and direct attempt to remind children that they are not just children of their parents (who love them much), but importantly children of God, constantly overseen and protected by angels. The liberal use of Biblical quotations gives children the assurance that the promises of God's love can be trusted. The book can be read in a few minutes, but the impression it makes on the child can be lasting. The beautiful pictures in the book enhance its quality. Children of different age groups will find in this book a strong pull towards God. I wish the author and the book great success.
