What do your fans mean to you?
My "fans" are amazing but I'd rather refer to them as friends because that's what they really are. On my blog, thenarcissisticpersonality.com, I receive literally hundreds of "letters" from readers in the comment section under each article and I answer each and every one. I've been corresponding with many of them for several years and feel like as if I know them so well. I also provide phone consultations and, therefore, have actually had the privilege of speaking with many readers one-on-one. Since writing the books, this interaction has been incredible and I am grateful for it every day.
When we're involved with a narcissist, as most of us know, our lives are practically interchangeable. Unless a person has actually experienced the craziness of this type of emotional abuse, they can never understand. For this reason, I created the books and the blog. To me, recovery from narcissist abuse is a team effort and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!
What are you working on next?
Right now I'm working on a short non-fiction tentatively titled "Narcissism in a Nutshell: 13 Telltale Signs That the Person You Love is an Emotional Manipulator". Basically, it's a quick study guide intended to confirm what a victim already knows to be true. I am also finishing up a book about my son who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at the age of ten. He's 26-years old now and he's the most amazing person I know. This book is the story of our journey together but it's mostly about his amazing awesomeness:)
