When and why did you begin writing?

I began writing maybe in High School.  I was always on punishment that year for my grades so I had a lot of time to basically sit and do nothing.  Writing became my only form of communication and it has stuck with me.

What has been your highlight of your career to this point?

Every single book sale has been a highlight that I relive whenever I receive sales.  The feedback I receive from my readers as well.  I have people asking me about when my next works will be out and comments like that gives me the motivation to keep going and to keep challenging myself to create works of fiction.

Have any favorite must-read books or authors?

I’m a big fan of Harlen Coben and Paulo Coelho.

Can you please tell us about your book 'Married 2 Struggle' and why you wrote it?  

Honestly, it was two things.  The first was fatigue.  This may sound crazy but I was tired of reading literature that was boring and predictable.  And not just any random book, I’m talking about reading things from people who are well known and on some bestseller lists.  It wasn’t a challenge for the mind.  When things are predictable, it’s pointless to me.  I like reading things that will shock me, not things that make me say “I knew it.”

And the second reason being…I always wanted to write a book, or at least see if I could complete one.

Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?

Honestly, I haven’t done much. I have been doing my research and I now know that being an author is a business and that books don’t sell themselves.  I have been doing word of mouth advertisement, social networks, and randomly approaching people about my project.

What projects are you currently working on that you’d like to share?

I have three projects in the works. The sequel to Married 2 Struggle, a Poetry book, and a text book for High School students.
