Israel Sanchez

Israel Sanchez was born in Havana, Cuba. He lived there until he was 11 years old, when he abandoned the island for the coast of Florida. He was raised Catholic but soon found religion to be exhausting and frustrating, that is until he visited an evangelical church and gave his heart to Jesus Christ. His passion is to see his generation living radically for the Lord Jesus Christ.  He wrote Waters of Grace to tell his story, and found out, that although we come from different places and backgrounds, we are all part of One story. That story is that of God, loving his creation and his creatures so much that He sent his only Son to rescue them.  More than a memoir, Waters of Grace looks at our culture and the condition of our churches and point us to the right direction; vertically.  Israel lives in Kansas with his wife and daughter.
