Based in York, England, David has been writing poetry since the age of seven, when he appeared in a National Teachers Journal. Since then his poems have appeared in many small magazines and latterly in Best Modern Voices with 'First Kiss' and also in many web publications. David commenced writing counselling and lifestyle articles in 1982. He was features editor for 'Stress News' and his work has appeared regularly in Direction, Backpax and Love Life magazines. He is a reviewer for author's works and also wrote and presented a six part series for television aimed at youth which won 'Gold Award' from CBC. David finds that writing poetry helps him wind down between assignments and fire up for the next session.
