1. Could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I'm a Elementary school teacher from Chicago. I live with my husband and my cocker spaniel.
2. Describe your book Tortured Soul in 30 words or less.
Tortured Soul tells the story of Evangeline, a human and Adam, a werewolf. Adam kidnaps Evangeline in an attempt to get his sister back from Evangeline's fiancée, the vampire king.
3. What was the hardest part of writing your book?
The hardest part for me was finding the time to write. I love writing and the words come easy to me, but with a full time job it can be difficult to complete a manuscript in a certain amount of time.
4. What books have had the greatest influence on you?
I'm a big Harry Potter fan (even though I write romance) and I think J.K. Rowling is brilliant. I also love Judith McNaught who wrote Whitney, My Love, one of my all time faves.
5. Briefly share with us what you do to market your book?
I'm constantly on Twitter and Facebook. I also had a big release party for Tortured Soul that was a huge success. I also go on every site I find to promote my book, but again, with a full time job it can be difficult.
6. How do you spend your time when you are not writing?
When I'm not writing I'm grading papers. In my spare time I love to read, watch movies, hang out with my nephews and drink wine with my friends.
7. What are you working on next?
I'm currently putting the final touches to the second part of the Tortured Series.
